Christmas 2008!!


We hope you all had a Very Merry Christmas!!
Leo's little Pre-K had one of the teachers dress up as Santa and hand out a gift to the kids (it was a book). Leo was SO excited to get a present from Santa...he waited and waited till it was finally his turn! He wasn't too sure about going up to Santa by himself though ;-) They also had a little "party" for the kids, cupcakes and juice!! YUMMY!!!
My bro-in-law Jake came down from Georgia and stayed with us for a few days...he was able to stay till Christmas day, which was nice!! It was great to have some extra family to spend with for the holidays, the guys even made a turkey on Christmas Eve!! LOL
The kids had a really fun time opening all the many many presents they got!! All three of the boys got bikes, Leo was VERY excited to have a Spider-Man bike to add to his collection of Spider-Man stuff!! ;-) Paul took off work Dec. 24th-Jan3rd so we have really been enjoying some quality family time!! Happy 2nd Birthday to our sweet little Angel Sofia!

Yesterday would have been Sofia's 2 nd birthday...We want to always remember her special day so we continued last years tradition and got her a little cake, card, and a little gift that reminded us of her (this year it was something that reminded us of her, but that her sis Alyssa could use). Remembering the day was bitter sweet...we love thinking about her, but of course it is still a very sad thought to know that she is not here as a part of our family (physically)...But we still seek comfort in knowing that we will be together again someday!! 7 months Already!!?? :-)

Our Little Pretty turned 7 months today!! WOW Can't believe it! She is such a little cutie pie...No new weight to report...She is starting to sit on her own now (still a little wobbly though)...She eats 2-3 Jars of baby food a day and still nurses anywhere from 3-5 times per day...Her favorite foods are anything that contain Sweet Potatoes or Sweet Peas in it :-) She Scoots on her belly to whatever catches her attention...Her bedtime is usually around 7ish, she sleeps in her crib and wake up time is usually around 6am! She still naps twice a day...Loves to be held (I think she just likes seeing the world from our view)...So the sling still comes in very handy! She has recently learned how to blow raspberries, which is super cute (except while she has a mouthful of baby food! LOL) Oh and she loves to grab EVERYTHING she can reach, including your face and she pinches SO hard (also pulls hair and has a tight grip)!!
